Make Up Academy (MUA) Blusher and Highlighter... I'm in love!

Hi there!

If you are looking for an affordable blusher and highlighter that does what it says on the tin, then look no further! I picked up a couple of these make up academy beauties from Superdrug the other day and I must say, i'm usually not a blusher gal but these have rocked my world (can you tell i'm excited?!)

So I got 3 of these shades, and can I add this blusher was only £1!

This shade is 'Lolly' it's a sort of coral colour which I think suits most people.. the pigment is very good so I suggest using a little at a time and building it up.

So because the above shade 'Lolly' is matte, it's great for adding colour however, I do like a bit of shimmer on the top of my cheekbones so I added this blush on top. This is 'English Rose' and I must say i'm a little bit in love with this blusher! It's really pretty on it's own, it's quite subtle and has a lovely shimmer, however again go easy or you might end up looking like a glitter ball. I think this was £2.. again an amazing price for the quality!

This is me posing with 'Lolly' and 'English Rose' i'm really pleased with these blushers, infact Make Up Academy is a really great brand and so affordable, so thumbs up!

I hope you enjoyed this post and let me know if you own any MUA stuff, what do you think of it?

Until next time...

"How To Knee Leg Hoop" Tutorial On Hula Hooping On Your Legs (Knee Hooping)

Hey there!

Here is a fun tutorial I recorded on how to knee/leg hoop!

Knee hooping, like every thing else, does take a bit of practice, it's unlikely you will get it first time so they key is to keep on practicing.. Don't give up!

Just think about the rhythm of the hula hoop as it's going round your legs and think about the push pull movement you will be using to keep that momentum going. If you go too fast or too slow this won't work.

This is move is known to cause bruising on the sides of the knees and it is uncomfortable at first, however this will pass.. just don't over do it in the beginning! :)

Good luck and let me know how you get on. If you have any questions or need advice feel free to ask in the comments below..

Thanks for visiting my blog :)

A Year Later . . .

Hi there!

It has been a full year since I last blogged.. I can't believe how time has just slipped away from me!

To say I have been busy would be a total understatement..

In the past year so much has happened..

I've been building my hairdressing business and adding new strings to my bow, for example, training in some awesome colour techniques and the newest 'hair friendly' hair extension methods (I will blog about these soon). Most importantly I have added a new addition to the family.. my baby boy Joshua <3 <3

Ah he's such a wee cutie! (If I do say so myself)

I'm so glad to be able to blog again and i'm hoping to update at least twice a week with some tutorials and general hair/make up chat! :)

See you again soon,
